A Better Health & Wellness  is an online functional medicine practice which offers individualized medicine based on your specific health needs, outside of the insurance arena dictating who, what and why.  We look at the whole person and come up with a plan to optimize your health, get to the root cause of your health issues and put you on a path to true healing through a holistic approach.  A true health, not  just based on standardized medicine.
We offer individualized visits and bundled visits with a discount as well as follow up with health coaching  and the availability of a discounted continuous health coaching experience. 

A Better Health Primary Care offers in-office visits and telehealth services in Biloxi, MS.  INSURANCE ACCEPTED for PRIMARY CARE.   

We utilize lab services through Quest Diagnostics, we offer lab services on Wednesdays and Fridays.  We also use Rupra Health which are often tests you can perform in your own home.

To make an appointment,  please contact our office number.  You may also utilize our online booking system from the main menu options.  There are options for in-office primary care AND online functional medicine visits.  

WE OFFER TWO ROUTES TO HEALTH:   

A Better Health PRIMARY CARE is a physical practice located on the coast of MS  that provides PRIMARY CARE, incorporating some functional, integrative medicine practices to routine standardized care where allowed and receptive for those that want to take control of their health. We treat the most common diseases including Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, and Obesity.  We accept WALK-INS for sick visits as well as routine Annual WELLNESS visits.  We also manage WEIGHT LOSS with insurance approved options.  

A Better Health & WELLNESS is strictly an on-line cash pay practice for those that are willing to deep dive into their health for MS and AZ residents, to receive an extended study into their health to find the root cause of their disease/s or symptoms.   The reason we provide this additional service to patients is because we know that it is desperately needed but not covered by insurance.  A Better Health & Wellness was designed to give extra healthcare options, a personalized health plan and continuous health coaching.  This is a functional, integrative medicine practice.  In this arena, we do not allow insurance to dictate how your health is prioritized or managed with our PERSONALIZED FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE online visits.  Most insurance does not cover this level of deep dive into your health which is very unfortunate. Insurance is based on statistical data sets to define guidelines for the average person's health, which we already know is unhealthy and is not good enough for where you want to truly be. The average American is not healthy!!  Let's say it again....the average American is not healthy!  America's standard of health is not okay to compare your own health to.  America's way of living is why we treat so many chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes and obesity.  If you want to avoid disease and treat disease, you MUST find the underlying cause of disease and fix the root cause!  We provide visits for cash pay and offer affordable payment plans.   We do provide functional medicine lab testing, which is separate billing; though all of your lab testing or a portion of lab testing ordered may be covered under your insurance plan, depending on the plan.  It is important that you check with your insurance provider and provide your insurance information where the lab services are provided. 

A Better Health & Wellness does not allow insurance to dictate how your health is prioritized or managed for PERSONALIZED FUNCTIONAL HEALTH visits.  Unfortunately, insurance uses old statistical data sets to define guidelines for what the average person's health currently should be.  However, we know that the average person in America is unhealthy.  America's standard is just not good enough if you want to avoid disease.  We provide PERSONALIZED visits for cash pay.   A portion or all of your lab may be covered under your insurance plan, depending on the plan.  It is important that you check with your insurance provider and provide your insurance information where the services are provided.
